What the enemy intended for evil, God turned into something beautiful. Out of one of India’s darkest seasons, Christ raised up My Hope—a ministry that continues to feed hungry children, care for vulnerable families, and lead boys and girls to Jesus. What began as a crisis has become a victory for Christ through a thriving ministry that is transforming lives for eternity.
In 2020, India came to a standstill.
For months, more than 1.3 billion people were confined to their homes during the COVID-19 lockdown. But while the world focused on the pandemic, millions of poor families faced another crisis. They lost their jobs overnight. Many had no savings, no government support, and no way to feed their children.
For these families, the lockdown did not just take away their income. It took away their hope.
That is why we started My Hope. What began as an emergency response has grown into a place where children find safety, love, and a future.
One of the greatest challenges we have ever faced became one of our greatest victories. The COVID-19 pandemic brought fear, uncertainty, and hardship to millions of families. Yet God opened a door that had never existed before.
Today, we rent a home in Akrabad where children come every day. Here they receive nutritious meals, clean clothes, educational support, and, most importantly, genuine care. Many of these boys and girls come from families that struggle to meet even their most basic needs.
We believe every child deserves more than survival. Every child deserves the opportunity to dream, to learn, and to know that they are deeply loved by God.
Each day our team helps children learn to read and write, encourages them in their studies, and shares the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. We have watched children who once had little hope grow into confident, joyful young people with a new vision for their future.
