What memories come to mind when you think back on your school days? The playful mischief, the friendships, favorite classes, the pre-exam jitters? School influenced us all far more than we often realize. It’s where we learned responsibility and discipline, shaping our career paths and much of our lives.
Jesus also valued education, which is why He spent so much time teaching and guiding others (Mark 4:2). As His followers, we’re called to fulfill the Great Commission recorded in Matthew 28:19: “Go and make disciples of all nations.”
A few years ago, we opened a Christian school in Akrabat, India, where children from low-income families can receive an education. We offer them not just academic learning but also nurture their spiritual lives. Our goal is to help them develop a “mind of Christ,” guiding them to live as Jesus taught.
In our school, we emphasize values like compassion and integrity, so each child learns to care for others and act honestly. We believe that, through our teaching, our students will genuinely follow Christ as they transform their mindset and way of life.

The Saviour School – Helping Underprivileged Children in Akrabad
We provide free education to children from poor families.
The school is located in a rural area, and there are not many white people here. So children look at us with great interest, and some are getting shy.
In covid times the school is open with all the necessary precautions.
The school is located in a simple neighborhood, but we did our best to provide a good study environment and make the school cozy.
The children of the poor study school subjects and learn about Christ.
All teachers in our team are dedicated people who love God. The kids come to school with great joy.
