The Light for Nations ministry is located in Dehradun, India. We focus on three areas to impact people’s lives by sharing Christ with them:
1. Slum Project. We work with children from low-income families living in slums. Many of these children do not attend school because it is far from their homes. To address this, we organize classes directly in the slums, teaching children according to the school curriculum. We make every effort to help them pursue good professions in the future. More importantly, we desire that every child comes to know Christ and builds their life on the foundation of God’s Word. For this reason, we introduce children to the Bible, teach them Christian songs, and offer guitar lessons to those who are interested.
2. Friends and Fellowship House Church Project. Our church meets in the homes of believers. This allows us to know one another well and pay attention to everyone who attends our meetings. We aim to create an atmosphere where each person can share about their life and understand what God’s Word teaches us. In this way, people experience God’s love, become part of God’s family, and share Christ with others.
3. Training Workshops for Pastors and Church Leaders. Many pastors of small churches lack theological education. Consequently, they often rely solely on their own experience and understanding when teaching others. However, we are convinced that every minister should deeply know God’s Word to teach with wisdom. Therefore, we organize seminars and provide training for pastors to equip them for effective ministry in their churches.
