Light for Nations Ministries is dedicated to making a significant impact in the lives of those who are hurting and in desperate need of the love of Christ. Based in Dehradun, India, the ministry reaches out to some of the most underprivileged people in the world, providing them with the support they need to improve their lives and bring hope for a better future. Through relationships, education, food, and shelter, we strive to embody the love and compassion of Christ in every interaction.
Our work is divided into three key ministries:
1. Slum Project: We currently work with the underprivileged children, offering them tuition, guitar classes, and Bible storytelling. These activities provide not only education but also a sense of community and spiritual growth, helping them to develop skills and values that will support them throughout their lives.
2. Friends and Fellowship Project: This initiative focuses on building strong, meaningful friendships and establishing small house church fellowships. By creating these close-knit communities, we foster spiritual growth and mutual support among believers, helping them to grow in their faith and share it with others.
3. Training: We believe strongly in equipping people for the work of God’s kingdom. Our training programs are designed to prepare individuals to serve effectively in ministry, whether in their local communities or beyond, empowering them to be leaders and servants who make a lasting impact.
